Overview
Kalamaki Street Greek is a chain of Greek restaurants located throughout London, offering mouth-watering Greek dishes fit for the gods themselves.
The Kalamaki team reached out to us directly, in order to design and develop a playful, interactive and eye-catching website to effectively portray their franchise.

INTERACTIVE WEB DESIGN
Kalamaki have striking, mythological branding style that we brought to life through a series of SVG and JS animations.
We wanted to lean on the Greek theme's most iconic elements; Zeus’s thunderbolt, Hermes flying through the page, flying pigs! Our design and development team created custom effects to make the Greek gods and their counterparts come to life.
SEO & HOSTING
The Kalamaki site was built with SEO in mind, using onsite SEO optimisation, Google analytics & WMT integration. This allows the Kalamaki team to track the performance of their new site.
The site is also managed by CreativeWeb, allowing us to deliver a secure & optimised hosting experience via Cloudflare.
DEVELOPING THE DIVINE
Our experienced development team coded the site with speed, scalability, and flexibility in mind. The site uses a WordPress CMS in a headless manner, allowing the site design to break outside of standard dev constraints while still allowing for flexible content updates.
The CMS and frontend are separate but connected entities, allowing for enhanced security and a more futureproofed site.
THE RESULT
The new Kalamaki site has been launched to great praise. The Kalamaki team are thrilled with how striking and interactive the site is, and have seen a significant increase in engagement since launch.
